Remembered Joy-

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.

I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;

Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Faith and family, I just learned of Ruth's passing. I am so sorry for your loss, and know, that if I had known, I would have been at her memorial service. She was always such a joy bringing Penny in the office. I always got tickled when she would ask about the doctor in a flirting manner. As you know, she doted on Penny, but she always had wonderful things to say about you, Faith, and your family. When she would leave the office, I always stood in front of her, having her put her hands on my shoulders, and take the steps one at a time. (We played train. lol) She always brought a joyful smile into the office, and left us with a smile on our faces. She will definitely be missed, and I'm glad her joy was shared with us. Praying for all of you at this difficult time. Again, I am so sorry about your mother's passing.

My deepest condolences go out to your family, it's never easy losing a loved one. You might take comfort in God's promise found at Revelation 21:4 where he says "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." This verse gave me some hope when I experienced loss, I pray it will do the same for you. May your warm memories also give you strength to endure this hard time.
